The Nutcracker has been used intensively on a number of difficult lakes for the past decade and has constantly out fished other branded baits. The bait is made from a blend of ground nut and milk proteins making it excellent to use all year round. Its sweet creamy smell comes from a blend of flavours that have been catching carp for the past four decades. Similar to the Tuna & Garlic the Nutcracker is very instant but the best results come from heavy or regular baiting.
The boilies come in sizes 14mm and 18mm. These different sizes mixed together have produced me dozens of fish from many types of venues. The different sizes of baits help build up the carps confidence and keep them feeding hard.
Tiger nuts have always been a great carp bait, their taste, texture and crunch is irresistible to any carp. So added to a boilie its a winning formula.
The Red & Spicy Fish mix is a real winner on all types of lakes. It was first used during the 1980s to devastating effect and still to this day is producing excellent results from very difficult waters. Made from the highest quality fish meals and fish oils it is mainly a summer bait but will also catch in the colder water. Since I have used the Red & Spicy Fish mix in conjunction with Tuna & Garlic the results have been exceptional. The bait has a very distinct smell and oozes carp, it can be used instantly to great effect but the best results will come from regular or heavy baiting.
The Tuna & Garlic is a boilie that has stood the test of time. The original roots of the bait go way back to the late 1980s, a time when baits were made for pure quality and not profit. Being a fish meal based bait containing fresh fish meals and oils it is without doubt at its most potent in the warmer months, but has also proved itself over and over in cold water. The Tuna & Garlic is a very instant bait and will be easily recognised as a food source to a passing fish, making it a great stringer bait. Heavy baiting with the Tuna & Garlic is highly recommended as this method has accounted for some amazing catches over the years.
